Most agencies show you client wins. We're showing you our own weak spot, because it's a pattern we now see across almost every account we manage.
Over a 13-week window, our weekly impressions climbed from under 1,000 to a peak above 15,000 — a jump of roughly 14x. In the same window, weekly clicks moved from 0–4 to a ceiling of about 21. Our average position across the period sat around 55, meaning most of that visibility was happening on page 5 or 6 of results, where nobody scrolls.
This isn't a penalty or a technical bug. It's what modern search increasingly looks like: your content gets indexed and surfaced for far more queries than before, but only a sliver convert into visits, because AI Overviews and featured snippets now answer the query before anyone reaches your listing.
The fix isn't "more content." It's picking the highest-impression, lowest-position pages and rewriting them to actually earn the click — sharper titles, direct answers in the first 100 words, and content structured for both people and AI summarizers.
